We use Avochato heavily and the API works great. Customer support is very responsive via text (obviously) and the tool is priced well for our needs. The best feature is a continuous history of texts with a user that allows us to provide great customer support.
The UI needs to look a bit more modern and the mobile apps have a lot more work to be done. Desktop experience is much better than mobile and would be great to see a UI facelift soon.
We support 100% of our customer orders through Avochato and do not have to hire a call center. Instead text-based support is more personable and cost efficient. API is robust and allows us to automatically send the majority of texts through the platform.
Quick setup and plays nice with a lot of other enterprise tools. Integration with Zapier for automated messages and the ability to toggle between the mobile app and the web version easily. Great support email/phone support when needed.
I wish the pricing was a little more competitive and offered more ala carte options rather than the bundles that include every bell and whistle.
Improving communication with prospects and clients. Worked great for our sales team's lead follow up.
the ability to share the dialog between multiple employees
there is nothing that I dislike about the program
Being able to communicate with our drivers and having the ability for the other dispatchers to see the conversation too.
They have the ability to give each person a unique login, I love that I can give each team member their own login. I also love that I can resend the same message again, having the ability to resend broadcast saves me time from having to create new broadcast each week.
I wish there was an auto-schedule program. I send the same message weekly as a reminder, I would love to see an auto push to a group of tagged account each week so I wouldn't have to schedule it myself.
We are reminding the customer of ordering deadline as well as assistance in sales communication. We are seeing more orders coming in on time. We also have a new avenue for office staff to communicate with our sales team in a form that works well for them.
Upside is that we can text a group of technicians all at once. It also provides a log of any tech that has been reached out to. I utilize the call feature a lot as well.
The phone app isn't as user friendly as needed.
Allows quick access and logging of texts and calls.
How easy the system is to use! The Phone app makes on the go texting available. We have been able to incorporate Keywords into our directional signage as well as print ads - that allows people to get information at their finger tips!
The integration with our CRM system was rather difficult, but that was not solely Avochatos fault. Getting logged out on my phone app and then having to log back in and try and remember my password. I wish the phone app had more features that the desktop version does.
Capturing RSVP's for events and being able to send out reminders to a large group of people quickly. Keeping in touch with Realtors on a monthly basis on a platform they actually use!
The communication between representatives and customers is great, also the ability to sort/file all of my broadcasts makes things very helpful. Driving customers towards my business through the power of text messaging is something that opens up a whole new door in the world of marketing, especially with the amount of people constantly looking at their phone screens!
The text messages do not roll over on your next billing cycle... so you either have to use exactly the amount you purchase or buy more...
My company is reaching more previous customers than before. Nobody is really putting down emails anymore... Its all phone numbers, which makes funneling sales extremely efficient.
I love the direct communication with my customer/consumer. It allows me to communicate with them quickly and promptly. I’ve gone from waiting for customers to call me back or respond to hearing from them the same day and or seeing them in my store. Foot traffic has increased. I love that I am able to login in anywhere and use the software.
I do not like the mobile app. It is not very workable in the sense that I am not able to use it 90% of the time I would like to. And since I am not always at the store I would like this to be useable so I continue my customer service from anywhere. I would also like the sms marketing to be a little bit more user friendly or to have had some training on that so that we could get the full benefits of the software.
Before Avochato we were waiting for customers to contact us back but now we have direct communication with them and they love it and we love it. Very smooth transactions.
The Avochato SMS system was easy to learn, quick to set up, and effective to communicate with both customers and prospects.
Really the only downside is the costly short-code option which is well beyond the budget of a small firm like mine.
How to quickly and effectively follow-up with prospective customers. The open rates on these SMS messages are phenomenal.
I like that I can text to customers through my keyboard. I don't like having to text over the phone. I find it difficult to enter the correct letters on my phone.
I don't like that I see other groups texts. We have Customer Support and tech support that we tag our chats with. It would be nice to only see the texts for our own group.
Ability for customers to contact us via chat
Excellent customer support. Relatively simple interface that does everything we need it to do. Great price point.
Still an early-stage product, and has some features missing. (For instance, have to record a voicemail greeting on your own software, then upload as .mp3 file.) Not the best phone functionality (but works well enough for our purposes).
We're using Avochato as a stand-in for Zendesk (too expensive), for customer support and lead capture.
I like the fact that you are reaching clients all at once and in a way that is most convenient and likely the easiest way for clients to respond.
Frankly I haven't really come across anything I didn't like.
I enjoy being able to reach out to a mass of people at the same time. This method also seems convenient and I seem to get a better response because everyone is texting.
Able to schedule bulk broadcasts. Does not require opt-in of contacts to send to.
Nothing. So far all features have worked as expected.
Able to reach out directly to clients and keep them updated on new offerings.
We like that we can integrate with our CRM and that we can include the widget on our website and double as a chat service. We have yet to implement either, but will be doing so very soon!
It would be great if the mobile app included more features that the desktop version does. When you are on the contacts page (on the desktop site) you can't view the slider at the bottom to see columns that are off to the right... you have to scroll through every single contact to get to the very bottom. It would be great if that slider was shown at all times regardless of where you were at in the list... you can still look at all the columns.
We are seeing a higher rate of response with Avochato than traditional emails/phone calls.
I love that I can communicate with customers and stakeholders through phone calls and texts, and my entire team can see the interactions with each person. Assigning technicians to each conversation, setting statuses, and being able to send mass communications has been a huge help for us.
I would love to see a GIF plugin, sometimes communicating with images keeps interactions light-hearted and fun. The mobile apps could be more robust, right now they are very basic. I should at least be able to copy/paste text in the mobile app and send MMSs.
We're using Avochato to provide a technical helpline so our customers can send a text when they need help, or call if the situation requires it. We're able to provide faster service and keep all of our techs up to date on each issue as it occurs.
Automation, sending out mass texts tomany different customers.
Limit for texts 160 charaters is not much, Can send pictures but it cost 1 text.
Contacting customers for appointments. You can mass-send appointment reminders.
Simple API with simple pricing. Other vendors have more complex tiered pricing and almost always a more difficult API to work with. The sales team does not have a drip of dishonesty in them. They were willing to recommend other vendors when it looked like they were not the ideal vendor to help with our business needs (after further conversation we realized that Avochato is still the best vendor, but that honesty earned a lot of trust with me). In addition, the sales team is actually engaging. I've been put to sleep in far too many demos of far too many technology solutions. They have a quick response time on questions and issues. They also put me into contact with whoever is the best person to answer my question (the sales consultant did not try to flaunt his knowledge when I asked him a question about the API, he directed me to one of their main engineers who built the API).
Slightly more expensive than Twilio before volume pricing takes effect.
We work in an industry that uses a lot of texts
I love that you can have canned responses so it makes responding to text messages a lot easier. It's very easy to tell what messages are new vs. ones that have already been replied too. They also have a customer service survey at the end for customers to respond to.
I think I dislike the UI the most. It seems a bit disorganized. The color scheme makes all the messages kinda blend together until you get used to what you are looking for and how to use the interface.
More forms of communication for customers have been greatly improved from using Avochato.
I love how you can set templates. It makes it very fast and simple when it comes time to send out the times.
I dislike how sometimes when I go to delete conversations it seems like it doesn't update consistently and i have to delete twice.
We are able to notify our customers of their delivery window so they can have guys at the job site at proper times to receive the material.
