I like the fact that it took me just minutes to set up, even though I was using a horrible web hosting service. Using CloudFlare taught me even more about my website and how to use it to its maximum potential and take advantage of everything that I could with it. I learned a lot just from using this service.
There was not really much to dislike to be completely honest. I liked every aspect of the service and thought their pricing was fair, their services were extremely useful, and they offered more than I could imagine.
I am solving the problem of tracking users that visit the site, keeping the site up in case of a crash, and monitoring the site in ways I did not even imagine before. I had complete control over my website and I felt really comfortable and at ease knowing I had CloudFlare, and I did not even have to spend a cent on it. What an incredible service!
It has the great friendly UI when we can recognize quickly the adnormal traffic and figure our the patterns of a DDoS attack. Also, it has its own technology to auto detect attacks properly and mitigate without manual monitoring. Other feature like rate limit or Geo block also are helpful.
Support is quite slow Documentation is not quite clear.
It improves the site availability by doing like a great shield to bad high traffic and any attacks automatically.
We started using it after rebranding wherein we revamped the whole website including content images everything. Page speed was the main issue we wer facing, it helped resolve it.
They offer huge value even in their free plan. So, no there's nothing that I dislike so strongly uptil now about it.
Page load speed, bandwidth usage. I love it's speed and how reliable it is.
Security Specifically! The security features are tight, including web application firewall, encryption, and bot mitigation. It helps me protect from various online threats and vulnerabilities
To be fair, the cost! Certain features costs high
Handling multiple websites and content is tough. Cloudflare CDN efficiently distribute various types of content, including images, videos, stylesheets, and scripts.
Low latency, maximum reliability, great support.
Nothing as such. Except a liitle pricier.
Increased the customer satisfaction as we are able to deliver vontents at rapid pace.
Security features offered by Cloudflare is just awesome. Traffic spikes on sites do not slow down the loading.
The developer platform must be improved.
Privacy is the key feature of this platform. For example, it does not store the browsing history. Also, websites load quickly.
The variety of options to block/challenge bots. Especially with Advanced Rate Limiting.
The support and customer success teams are not very helpful.
DDoS, Brute Force, Scraping, and other bot related security activity
DNS propagations are done instantly. No waiting around.
There are no issues other than the occasional slow down.
Fast access to my website and caching
I use it for speed up website load time and it's doing a great job. It is stable and I love the fact that this is free! I also use the SSL certificate that enables for a year and it renews itself automatically. I use it for all websites I manage. Strongly suggest it.
Since this is a shared IP address, sometimes if you look up the IPs you'll see it's a high risk. That's why I am thinking about getting unique IP for each website or for all the websites I am managing. Another problem is caching, sometimes a website does not load correctly unless I press "purge everything" button in the Cladflare dashboard.
SSL certification, I used to renew a free SSL every 3 month but after I found out that Cloudflare is doing it automatically, I switched immediately. Also content delivery network CDN
The best part of using Cloudflare DNS is that you're essentially adding a layer of security to your network for all your users. It gives you the ability to filter and block sites based on their DNS address.
There's nothing to dislike. The interface is clear and simple. The free version is limited to 50 users which are sufficient for smaller businesses or home environments.
Cloudflare is adding a layer of security which is always welcome. You still need a good antivirus and firewall.
- It Enhances security and provides the best security to your website, as in today's world security is the biggest problem for the site. - Provides CDN, DNS, firewall, security, protection against DDOS - Helps in controlling real-time traffic.
Right now there is nothing to dislike. Only thing is that pricing can be improved a little bit as compared to other competitors.
- To provide DNS, CDN, firewall to the website. - To enhance the security which is a major concern.
Easy DNS management with an intuivite interface. Budget friendly. Since you can buy domains from Cloudflare as well, everything is under one roof.
Not that much to dislike since everything works smoothly.
Everything is in one place and very easy to manage. We use Cloudflare for all our domains, and it saved time as before there were several places or registrars where we had to log-in and make changes when necessary.
Even in free account we can able to configure the CDN from cloudflare, but I dont know how many other providers do that. One of the best CDN services that used by lot of major companies so its trusted too.
Need wildcard proxy support for all the plans.
Improved my site performance through Cloudflare CDN and i have a commerce site actually its get attacked, so i overcome those issues with the help of firewall rules.
Flexible cache system. Allow configured any rules.
Complexity in configuration firewall system.
Caching. Delivery content across all the world.
It's a great tool to leverage for these days enterprise security rollout..
Have not explored with all the features but it is good to cater and resolve via most of the SPNs alreted to us via vulerability crawlers.
DDoS, UDP and others where they can give us confidence in connected world. Also for bank it's greatly usefull.
The user experience is simple and easy to use. There are plenty of nice performance optimization options and ways to measure the impact.
I had no issues using Cloudflare insofar.
I have a personal site running on GitHub pages. I have been using Cloudflare for extra performance optimization, caching, forcing SSL and similar.
Cloud-flare is the best website security company , providing free SSL. I liked Railgun service , which ensures that the connection between your origin server and the Cloud-flare network is as fast as possible. For SSL activation you have to wait for 24hrs. Whitelist Cloudflare IP addresses at your origin web server, and Whitelist third-party services your site uses via Cloudflare IP Access rules.
Sometimes i got SSL error . Server unreachable
Before using Cloudflare i have tried a lot SSL service, but Cloudflare provide best SSL services which can be easily configure.
I like that you can control multiple cites with one software/firewall.
It is overly sensitive to web attacks and works overtime when it is attacked.
I never have to worry about company data being breached or deleted. It makes life easier by making keeping it a single sourse of security.
Multi-cloud security is a big advantage as I don't need to look for different solutions to protect against my apps on different cloud environments. Default protection against OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities is a huge plus.
There is nothing I dislike about this product up till now.
Making my web application more secure by web scanning for web app vulnerabilities.
It adds another layer of security and reliability to my website. When a site is critical to your business, even a little additional safety net lets you sleep better at night.
As a non-techie (marketer), the services are confusing. I do as I'm told by my developers, but I'm honestly not sure what each tool we use actually does.
Most recently, I started using the CDN product for my blog-based website. Basically, it's supposed to increase site speed and serve content from servers physically nearer the viewer.
