It is easy to use and customize to each indivdual recruiter. The templates can be easily created and used for each disposition point. Hiring managers have access to all candidates or not. You can customize.
there isn't anything I can think of that would be a negative
great way to manage candidates and add notes each step of the way. HM's have access to all of your phone notes and any communication so there is never a reason for them to reach out and ask how you liked a candidate especially if you are screening up to 8 people a day for multiple HMs
I've been using Greenhouse since 2013 and implimented it at 6 different companies. In 2013, it became what an ATS should be: easier to use for recruiters, hiring managers and employees, intuitive, easy to set up the way you want + a great structure overall. Greenhouse has been growing adding great functionality ever since. Customer support has been great: easy to connect to, good FAQ type answers or a live person to solve your problems. Integrations are easy with LinkedIn, Google, Gem, Zoom and HRIS
I wish reporting was more ad hoc and easier to set those up.

How easy it makes everything! It has been a huge help when it comes to staying organized during our Recrtuiting processes. It also integrates very well with other platforms we use such as Linkedin Recruiter.
Nothing comes to mind, overall I genuinely enjoy using Greenhouse
It is out go to for everything ATS related, it helps us stay organized and on top of all of our Recrtuiting and interview processes. Being able to tie everything together all in one place when it comes to candidates and where they are in the interview process makes things flow with a lot of ease.
I like how easy it is to manage my referrals and see where they are in the recruitment process.
There aren't any features that I do not like.

Greenhouse's tools to interview from prescreening to the final interview and beyond make the process easier for both talent acquisition, to the hiring manager to the applicant. Greenhouse was easy to integrate and implement and very easy to train on.
Sometime navigating can be confusing but that might just be how our company has Greenhouse set up.
Greenhouse allows to to manage applications from prescreening to hiring. We don't use the onboarding feature but you have the ability to do so if that is something you need.
Variety of tools it offers, from recruitment, reporting, and issuing paperwork. Customer support is excellent! Had no issues with any solutions I encountered during my time of using. Easy to integrate with other systems.
Can seem to have a lot of data and resources. Would be easier to categorise it a little better making it more efficient and easy to use.
Tracking all of our applicants whether they be external or internal especially since we publish on Linkedin and job boards.
For background information, I use Greenhouse daily. Offers integration opportunities, eg with Bamboo, our HRIS system. Features robust reporting capabilities, though there might be a slight learning curve at first. Provides flexibility for tailoring pipelines to your needs. Helpful blog posts for the majority of topics to get help if you have questions.
The UI/UX may not be the most user-friendly initially, so there's a learning curve involved. Additionally, there are no options for customizing candidate surveys.
We centralize all candidate information within a single system in Greenhouse to enhance candidate management and communication. This approach also helps in maintaining historical record for each candidate. Additionally, we appreciate the recent GDPR feature, which alerts you in cases where candidate consent to retain data is missing. Also, we do quarterly reviews on key data insights for all divisions with our Senior Leadership to keep track of Recruitment metrics. The main dashboard is very easy to use, and you can dig deeper by building your own reports too (and you can save them!).

It is not as easy to port information to a new req. if the current one that the candidate is in is not the rate req. for his/her skill set. No able post 1 reqs. in multiple location and be able to sync with our career page.

The interface is comfortable to use, and the sorting options are weighed and help manage candidates.
On some pages, it is hard to find how they get back to the home screen

You can create different templates and different levels of interview and screening with each job posting, making it harder to miss key points that are needed in the process. Great customer service.
For some people, it would be easier to have different colors or button shapes for different tasks.
Organizing the intake, searching for the right candidate, posting the job postings with external sites like LinkedIn and Indeed.
I really like the automation features of Greenhouse that allow recruiters and coordinators to save time. Features such as notification alerts on scorecards and stage transitions and rule-based actions for applicants. Integrations are very easy with Greenhouse.
I dislike that you cannot send a templated NDA from DocuSign when you move a candidate to the "Send NDA" stage. This would save our coordinators a ton of time. I also dislike that in stage transition rules you cannot CC someone. This would make certain tasks easier when I need to have another team member or coordinator copied on an automated email that goes out to a candidate. Reporting could also be better. The new dashboard view in reports is great and a step in the right direction, but I would love to see an even higher level view capability across all reports with an ability to download to PDF to share with leaders. It would be amazing to benchmark against a custom set of companies for the candidate feedback surveys.
Were using the data to make informed decisions on hiring timelines and bottlenecks in the recruiting process. I do wish the reports could be viewed in a better manner rather than just in rows and columns.

Managing recruiting and hiring
It's so user friendly, compared to other ats systems, you can get things done quicker and it has good prompts to make sure you are on top of things you need to be. Whenever i've reached out to the customer service team it's been super fast and easy to resolve issues.
It has some limitations, i've recently been working on a project for refferals where we've needed to intergrate API's but it hasn't bene an easy process, this could maybe be improved.
making sure no candidates are left un resolved, all candidates are receiving comms effeciently and quickly.
Workflows and approvals are easy to edit and set up, lots of options to customize templates and sequences.
Analytics out of the box for non-enterprise tiers is lacking.
We use Greenhouse as our ATS, and it does a good job of providing for posting capabilities for us as a fully-remote organization. The pay transparency modules also make it easy to stay compliant.

It is very easy to integrate with LinkedIn or Indeed and Ziprecruiter.
Some of the preset response prompts are a little robotic.
