I love that you can customize it to fit the needs of your company. I also enjoy the new product features that come out regularly to uplevel the product. Lastly, I love that it has intergrations with many other platforms. Its not a hard or complicated tool to learn how to use.
I do wish there was a better integration with our HRIS. It'd be nice if whenever a new employee is added to our HRIS, a Basic User greenhouse account is created for them so we don't have to manually deactivate/audit users.
It is easy for candidates to use, our talent team to manage candidate pipelines, and our hiring teams to provide feedback.
Greenhouse enables companies to create a recruiting culture throughout the entire company. We've implemented DEI best practices through Greenhouse, standardized our processes, and increased our data/metrics.
I don't dislike anything about Greenhouse. I do with the reporting function was more user friendly and visually appealing, but besides that I have mostly positive things to say.
DEI best practices, increase offer acceptance rate, standardized interviews, etc.
You can customize each req with it's own stages, scorecards, hiring manager and interviewers, etc. It is easy for hiring managers to view the pipeline, candidates and interview process on their own. Decent reporting functionality as well. Customer support is quick and responsive.
The CRM is only a place to house prospects but you cannot keep detailed notes/scorecards associated with said prospect. It doesn't have any nurture campaign associated with it.
Greenhouse helps us find the best talent and allows us to organize all our reqs in a way that we can easily report metrics out to the business to show progress.
Greenhouse is, without a doubt, the best ATS available on the market. Our account manager is super responsive and hands on - she knows our company goals and objectives and is helping us to get there with regular check-ins and support via email/zoom. We have been able to change the way we hire through structured interviewing, track our DE&I metrics and diverse hiring goals, and ensure that candidates are getting the best experience through automation and additional tools. And we've done this all within the last year! Greenhouse scales with companies, and we regularly tweak the way we use the platform as our organization hires at volume and grows.
Occasionally, the user interface is a bit tricky to get the hang of, though they have made significant process improvements & tweaks. The only other thing I wish they had was more guard rails for our data to be clean, but this is more of an internal problem.
We realized over the past year that a lot of our hiring teams weren't interviewing effectively. We did a major revamp to connect requirements on a job description to competencies on scorecards and structured interview questions to give interviewers a framework of how to vet a candidate for a particular competency. For volume roles, I love the ability to add custom questions and filters based on candidate answers to those questions. This has saved us loads of time and energy. The custom reporting feature allows us to build reports specific to our organization easily and at scale.
Ease of use for talent acquisition professionals and managers alike.
Honestly, it's a great tool - there is some opportunity for connectivity with other systems but overall it's really good.
Greenhouse has helped us get managers more engaged in the process. They can log into the system and see applicants or search for candidates.
User friendly and not confusing to use..
I do not see any least useful from greenhouse.
Able to track candidates and former applicants easily.
Ease of use. Ease of Integration. Number of Features. Customer Support. I'm using Greenhouse frequently and it has been seamless since then.
None so far. I'm very confident with the features of Greenhouse
Candidate management
Greenhouse provides all the needed information
In Greenhouse, Requisition once filled, gets deleted
Porviding the actual step the candidate is already in
I like that you can mention a person and it'll automatically route in their email.
You need to request different accesses so you can use GH in full capacity.
equalizing time zones since we have to schedule candidates from different parts of the world
I like that Greenhouse is user friendly and allows me to have a more seamless process. It also gives me the opportunity to interact with candidates better.
There are times that my candidate is not able to receive the assessment and I have to manually send it out.
One system is connected to all. I do not have to toggle to different platform just to get the information I need.
Everything is easy to navigate and our managers learn how to navigate this within a week of using this. I also like there is not many changes to Greenhouse, normally softwares constantly update but with Greenhouse I feel things are layout perfectly without changes.
I don' t have any downsizes this this at the moment.
It is solving collecting scorecards from managers after interviewing in a quicker way.
The Greenhouse Onboarding platform is really great at helping employees successfully integrate within the company. The customer support was top notch and they made the implementation simple and easy. We reached out to our rep quite a bit to get everything set up correctly and they were very quick and responsive. It's an easy-to-use platform with lots of features and they are rolling out more of them each day. We are still integrating it for all employees, including our UK team now, but our employees like the platform the more they understand it's capabilities and frequently use it.
There is no way to assign a task to all departments except for one. We have a department that has a very different onboarding program than the rest of the company, and we would have to manually click on every department except for this one department to be assigned tasks. If there was an and/or capabilitiy, it would help with assigning tasks. There are also limited categories the tasks can be grouped in currently. They are working to improve this, and our relationship with customer support has been great, so I imagine they will.
It assigns tasks to each person involved in the onboarding process and holds them accountable to complete them. It also provides a meaningful welcome experience during preboarding for new hires.
I've used almost every ATS from Workday to Lever to iCIMS, and Greenhouse is always my go-to when it comes to implementing a new ATS. The ease of use, and constant updates are really top-of-the-line and they never stop improving their features.
I wish there were AI features built in where it could automate the process of reviewing resumes since we receive over 1000 resumes per job that we open. If Greenhouse made that improvement, it would be a game changer.
The functionality and customization is what I look for the most when it comes to applicant tracking systems. We need automation in every company, and Greenhouse does that for us.
Their customer success team is great. Always stays in touch and keeps us updated on teh latest features. I also like how user firendly it is and how many integrations are available.
Ive used a lot of systems, and if I were to recoemnd one thing it would be the reporting. They do allow for reporting dashboard integrations if you want to customize but would be good to be able to build those reports out in teh system instead.
We are able to do everything within the system from sourcing, scheduling, interview feedback through scorecards, offers and onboarding.
Collaboration with outlook and LinkedIn recruiter. Email reminders. User friendliness of the system when viewing candidates and reqs. Ability to pull reports.
Ability to pull searches of candidates stored in the ATS could be more intuitive.
Unsure. I can't identify any major issues that require resolution.
Greenhouse has such ease of access. The platform integrates with every outside recruiting platform we use at VIOOH. Integrations are simple and quick. The platform's automation features are best in market.
Greenhouse CRM is a bit clunky I find and tough to find candidates from the search tool. Maybe adding in the ability to search via phone number or email would be useful.
Greenhouse is solving our TTH issues and now we are currently sat around 30 days average. Also the automated transisitions mean less brunt work when scheduling.
The resume review tool was helpful to just get through hundreds of resumes swiftly. In addition the tags were helpful for filtering candidates and getting data. I also like the option to mass reject or move foward candiates with an email and there being extra steps to do so, so there is less room for sending anything too prematurely. I also like the comment section where I can @ different people on a candidates profile.
It would be helpful to be able to create tags on a candidates profile page instead needing to create a tag on a different page and have to go back to the candidates profile to add.
Greenhouse solves the problem of spending unneccessary time to address candidates in the same situation individually and provides an efficient way to thoroughly address each candidate with the option to quickly access the profile from a table.
It is very intuitive and most recruiters without prior experience get quickly used to it and work effectively using the main features. Moreover, even hiring managers use it without little or no guidance.
On the other hand, its simplicity is oneof its main advantages, but also in my opinion a limitation. I would appreciate more advanced features and fields to do sourcing among old applications filter by their evolution in the recruitment processes they took part of.
Candidate managament, application review, feedback, historic data, metrics, planning, approvals, etc. It's helping me manage a high volume of candidates in an easy manner, involving my stakeholder without my supervision
The layout, the way the informations are disposed and the clean design
Generates a lot of duplicates and the files can be messy.
Centralizing the candidates information, automatizing emails, moving pipe.
I love that Greenhouse allows integrations to other products that we use like HireEZ, Linkedin Recruiter, and Workday. I also love that the interview plans are fully customizable.
I dislike the limitations that the email templates have. I think it would be beneficial to create specific email templates for specific jobs. Currently, the only way to group email templates is by job location. With many jobs being remote these days, location isn't much of a distinctive factor.
Keeping track of all our candidates in all stages in one central place. Greenhouse is our source of truth when it comes to all active, past, and future candidates.
