I really liked the idea of infusionsoft being my one stop shop. CRM and marketing automation. I liked the idea of client funnels too.
Clunky old software. For the pricing and the learning curve there were just alot better options out there.
I was trying to create some marketing automation for my business to send potential leads through funnels that would convert them to customers.
The automation of communicating with interested individuals helps keep the business connected.
It is difficult to set up the campaigns optimally (extra costs for detailed help from Infusionsoft) and very time consuming for setting up.
The business has grown it's communication base and it helps to stay interactive with clients and leads
being able to segment the database I think that's about all I can say
emails get delayed, contacts fall out of campaigns, customer care doesn't always know the system well
email, database management
I like that they have a lot of features
The path to understanding the full value in the software and they upsells. Coaching.. etc.
Email Marketing
Infusionsoft can do a lot. Many options.
The interface is confusing. It is difficult to find contact notes and tag them based on viability.
CRM, contact upload, email broadcasts
There is so much you can do with Infusionsoft that we haven't even tapped into, so all that opportunity is exciting. The support team is GREAT!
Every step takes so many clicks! Creating an email campaign takes forever because you're constantly having to go back and forth between all these different areas. There is also no easy way to get a report of opens, clicks, etc. The reports that are produced are not visually appealing and are hard to understand.
Content marketing has been our biggest use. We are also using it more now for lead follow up/sales.
It is the cheapest option that we looked at. It is nice that it has an integrated e-mail builder.
Infusionsoft malfunctions at times. These malfunctions include: deleting database entries and inserting random characters when using their e-mail builder. To top it off, their customer support is not designed to be super helpful.
While not the ideal solution, it is fairly cheap when compared to their competitors.
I like the idea of what it should be. Infusionsoft does billing and payment better than anyone so if you are looking for a platform to integrate your CRM and online payments, it's pretty good. Support is good.
Way to hard to build marketing sequences. Would be nice to clone sequences built by other marketers but they have it set up for third parties to sell it so you can't share your sequences with other marketers/peers.
Automating lead generation.
Infusionsoft works well enough for managing our database. Multiple log-ins allow multiple parties to be able to view updates, program registrations, etc. The ability to build forms that interact with our website is fantastic.
Email marketing is somewhat restrictive with Infusionsoft. The email builder is clunky and we have had issues with rogue punctuation marks showing up in the middle of words. When our CRM analyst has reached out to customer service about this issue, she has repeatedly been brushed off and told it wasn't an issue on Infusionsoft's end, they can't identify the problem and that the problem is on our end. It's not possible for that to be the case. It appears to be an HTML issue.
Database management, segmentation and email marketing are all business problems we're solving and benefits we have realized.
If I must say, the low price is the only thing I like about Infusionsoft. Although, that's a stretch to say the word "like" in the same sentence as Infusionsoft.
Let me count the ways!!! Poor support. Oversold the capabilities. Very poor training. Poor implementation. Can't manage 'accounts' well. Problems with emailing lists. Many of our contacts get blocked by infusionsoft on email blasts. Infusionsoft routinely throttles back our blasts so they take forever to finish. There are so many things we can't do, that we could keep this list going, We have to jump through hoops, like cutting and pasting to pull a list of contacts out from Infusionisoft. I'll have my IT Director fill out one of these with more detail. We are looking at switching to Dynamics or Salesforce. They're expensive, but at least they work.
Infusionsoft is like dragging a big anchor. We spent so much time to get our data show-horned into Infusionsoft, that it was a big waste. The cost of the system is irrelevant to the overall opportunity cost. The CRM is awful. the marketing engine is a joke. Company is inflexible. They change the rules on a regular basis. We never know what to expect when we log in.
I appreciate how often someone from Keap reaches out to provide additional training or any help we need to improve our use of the system. It is great to have this consistent line of communication
It is a dense system; there are some elements of the system that we do not use as an organization. We also sometimes have issues with our emails from campaigns ending up in Spam no matter what we do
Students enrolment - HOW - automation - enables us to follow-up with our students to make sure they enroll in our programs
Infusionsoft has all the components we wanted in a CRM - ability to track touchpoints and data about customers and prospects throughout their journey, AND the ability to automate drip campaigns and marketing messaging.
We had a lot of difficulty with our import, and wound up spending a LOT of time onboarding and cleaning up our data. Every contact has tags attached, but in order to send an email broadcast, we have to create a whole separate tag just to attach it to the email. Automation has been a difficult process, and support has been underwhelming.
We were hoping to bring together our CRM needs and our marketing automation needs in one place. It has been helpful to see past marketing communication and the status of various opportunities in our pipeline.
Infusionsoft does everything you'd expect and more; this is both convenient and overwhelming. It's very easy to integrate with virtually any other service you use via Zapier, whether that be a Wordpress website, a reputation management platform, etc.
While Infusionsoft does everything you'd imagine and more, onboarding is a big time commitment, and may still leave you feeling overwhelmed due to the sheer robust nature of the platform.
At its most basic level, Infusionsoft allows us to capture leads, tag them appropriately, track their lead scores and overall engagement, and communicate with them. It also allows us to plan these communications strategically and automate email campaigns.
I like that the HTML can be easily edited in the webpage.
I dislike that they don't have an online library for graphics uploading.
We are trying to send emails to large lists. We have realized that the benefits are the analytics provided after an email send.
Infusionsoft effectively manages our customers' data, and we rarely have any issue locating customers and utilizing their information. API integration was the main reason we selected Infusionsoft.
The process of pulling data for analytics is tedious and has many roadblocks. I have very limited options for what segments I can pull simultaneously, and there are so many errors that all data must be audited. This program is terrible from an analytics standpoint.
Mainly, Infusionsoft is used to track financial information and process payments. Beyond this scope, Infusionsoft is largely ineffective.
Extremely comprehensive - lots of stats, great for segmenting users almost any way you can think.
Very expensive compared to other similar systems. No direct integration to Shopify - needs Revenue Conduit at a further cost to link to Shopify. Extremely complex, difficult to use, does not link into other Shopify tools.
Was using Infusionsoft to communicate with our email database of customers and sponsors, but had to work through an agency. Now moved to Klaviyo and much happier!
I love the notification portion and the followup but I have a problem with linking facebook business ads to the campaign
linking facebook business ads to the campaign
I am getting good leads but would like to have a better understanding of the system
I love the simplicity of the interface. It's intuitive and I can navigate easily.
It can be hard to find some reports, and the campaign builder is too complex.
CRM, marketing automation, drip campaigns
The ability to track so many different things, including campaigns and also works as a CRM. I like the support available - if I ever didn't know how to use it, which was almost always, then there was support on the website I could look at to get some help.
It's super complex, so it takes some time to get in to. I find it to be a very complicated software but thankfully there are lots of tutorials and help pages! Also, it's SO expensive to get, especially the upfront initiation fee, so it's not realistic for small businesses to use.
We wanted to make a new marketing campaign and since we were a small business, we didn't really have the tools. This allowed us to fill that gap!
The user interface is relatively friendly and some of their advisors useful.
Some of their advisors don't have a clue about customer service or Infusionsoft itself. There is also no way to give negative feedback if you want to. I asked for a way and the gave me the email address of a manager who never replied to my email. Sometimes they also take a lot of time to come back to you and miss deadlines. They had told me that they will get back to me within 48 hours and I heard back from them 10 days later...
