I chose Kinsta because i wanted to focus on my business and site not the hassle of hosting and supporting the minutiae of wordpress. From sign up to use Kinsta has fulfilled this purpose. As a software developer with years of experience I found the transfer and magration process relatively straightforward. Unsafe plugins were identified which my previous host never highlighted and the admininstration panels cover what i really want. Previously they were just a mish mash of what was available at the time. My site preformance instantly improved and has been solidly reliable since migration. The problems with my site that were highlighted during migration proved to me that the support staff know what they are doing and have made the process of making wordpress content so much easier. The articles they have on wordpress and other areas are also continaully helpful and feel like they are written by people who understand the challenges I am fancing. They have introduced my to like minded companies that create more value than they charge for and reflects the experience I have had with Kinsta since joining 8 months ago.
To acheive the standards and focus Kinsta have they do not support things like domain or email hosting. I understand why and it shows in their results and costs but in terms of migration to them it was a challenge initially. Though they provided clear guidance which introduced me to a better long term platform for my business. The same is true for plugins and their approach to server resources. I agree with their choices which ensure each site is a good neighbour to the other and not hogging resources. The challenge though is that I then have to look for replacement options for the plugins that solved certain problems for me. If that is what is needed for a fast, stable and secure site I can live with it but it is a pain and something I have to accept
As a software developer I tend to get caught up developing and supporting my site instead of building the business it serves. With Kinsta I have been able to move from a focus on hosting to a focus on content production, promotion and all the other issues I need to consider. The move to headless is of interest to me and I can see that the transition process is well documented at kinsta. Though I am not yet sure if I will have to purchase a separate application developer package or be able to use my wordpress hosting to develop small items to run on the site using data from the headless setup. At other hosts i know that would be possible but it is not clear to me if I can at Kinsta
Their platform is thorough and built for WordPress. It makes it easy!
I can't think of any issues or things I dislike.
Making WordPress hosting easy to work with. Especially with their Development tool and staging servers.
The customer support, ease of use, and pricing!
There are not many things I dislike about Kinsta, nothing notable to state.
Reliable WordPress Hosting.
Most importantly, it just works. I've used several hosts for my own websites, and worked with dozens of hosts for clients. Kinsta has been the most reliable (uptime, site speed, security, etc) and I trust them more than any other host I've used. I have not had to contact support that often (because I've rarely had problems), but when I do, things get resolved quickly.
It's not cheap. Personally, I think it's absolutely worth it, and I have no issue with the cost. It seems like a no-brainer for a business to afford it. But the cost seems to get other people held up, and I'm not always able to convince them to look past that.
I use Kinsta to host my own WordPress website and client websites. With Kinsta, I have less to worry about. I don't have to learn how to manage a server, and I get the benefits of speed, security, reliability, and more. And my clients are happier when they move to Kinsta and have fewer or no problems with their hosting.
The great thing about Kinsta is its ease of use. As a business owner, I am not an IT expert or web developer and yet Kinsta allows me to do complex tasks like setting up and using a staging server, CDN and SSL certificate with ease. And when I get into a jam, the tech support is top-notch.
It is a little pricey but you do get what you pay for which is peace of mind. Possibly adding a lower-priced tier might help, especially considering the pricing of some of the competition.
Kinsta allows me to have a solid, reliable and responsive website without having to go through a lot of the technical gymnastics sometimes required by other web hosts.
Blazing fast performance. Best customer experience. Complete control and advanced features. Price is a bargain for what you receive. Secure.
None whatsoever. I can't think of one downside.
My goal was to omprove my websites speed and performace. My previous premium hosting was the bottle neck. Moving to Kinsta enabled me to achieve perfect scores on Googles Page Speed Insights: 100, 100, 100. Both for mobile and desktop.
Coming from a self-hosted WordPress solution to a cloud platform on Kinsta, the most significant change is that we don't need to worry about the infrastructure side of things. Many optmisation are done at system level, so that we don't need to re-invent the wheels on top of application level in WordPress. I guess this same applies to every other hosted solution, but Kinsta has done it pretty well. Also GCP is pretty reliable, we didn't experience any downtime in the past a couple of months using the service. Another thing worth mentioning is that, we get very quick response from their support team. We are kind of inexperience in site buildling and maintaining ourselves, but they do attend to our questions in a very fast fasion. Kinsta also have loads of educational material on its site about WordPress buildling, this is the first thing that caught our eyes and let us make the decision to use Kinsta hosting service.
Nothing really at this moment, we have just migrated and started to use Kinsta a couple of months ago, haven't encountered any bottleneck or issues particularly. It's a bit more expensive comparing to other WordPress hosting solutions, but it's in the end a choice of ours. To us we think value-wise it's not bad.
Previously when we self-host WordPress, we had major performance issues and security concerns. We know that we can just use Cloudflare and WAFs ourselves, but since Kinsta has the ready-to-use solutions in place, it's saving both of our efforts and time when adopting this.
Kinsta is by far the best WordPress hosting in all aspects. Their technical support team is extremely fast, responsive, and the most knowlegable in the industry.
Nothing of dislike to note but in terms of price this is not the cheapest solution in the market so there's some limitations in terms of having number of websites.
99% of WordPress site issues has to do with hosting every single time but when you're with Kinsta all of your hosting issues are gone.
They have online support which is very fast to respond. They solve issues relatively quick and easy. They also give some good recommendations on plugins to handle issues going forward.
Very small nitpick. We have a plugin that handles redirects. Kinsta also has that feature. What I like about the plugin is that it keeps a record of how times a link gets hit, even the last time it was hit. Some redirects that haven't been hit in over a year I get rid of, just to keep the list down. Kinsta unfortunately doesn't track that, or at least I can't see that.
Kinsta was regarded as the best WordPress host. We need the best for a site like ours. We had an issue with a massive slowdown on our site and the Kinsta rep was able to fix the issue very quickly.
Easy to manage, instuitive and detailed dashboard, super service compared to other hosting providers
I can't complain, everything always works smoothly.
Wordpress hosting is super
