What I like best about lever is the customization options. I think it allows a company to make it there own and stay organized.
Like any ATS not everything is perfect. But that is what feedback and continuous growth is for. I wish the tags were a little more searchable like full boolean.
Lever has been great and very responsive! Our rep, is very communicative and has set up trainings as well as provided a lot of insight. Lever has done wonders for helping us stay organized and come up with ways to use the tools, within lever, to maximize our efficiency.
I like the simple functionality and integration with Office 365. Lever has made my job easier in almost every way and long term it seems to be perfect for what we need.
The job posting is the thing I dislike most, I'd like to be able to have jobs still open without being posted.
It makes everything faster, and enables us to work smarter.
Scheduling features, centralization, ease of job posting, implementation, training
Some things could be a bit more conducive to sharing across teams such as easy book links, and also finding ways to apply promotions and advertising budgets to job postings within lever would be amazing
Centralizing the hiring process across all teams.
It's very easy to use Clear interface error prompts are useful and informative easybook for scheduling is nice
Could use a layer of workflow automation More definition of workflow per advertisement These are minor things, the system is very useable currently
We wanted a single source of truth about candidates with a rich API We already have most of our tools integrated with Lever and it allows us a better format for reporting.
Nice UI. Everything is organized. No redundant info is shown on the page.
So far everything looks good. Nothing that I dislike.
Refer candidate. To manage all referrals in one place
intuitive to use, easy user interface, streamlined
Not much that I don't like about Lever.
I used Lever for internal job applications at my last two jobs and to refer candidates. You're able to track their process, so I like that you can incorporate transparency. It's also customizable.
Lever is simple and intuitive to use. The tool makes it easy to submit your feedback on candidates, simple to find/review all candidate materials (resume, cover letter, other stakeholder feedback), and manages workflow well. The interface makes it clear how many/where candidates are in the process.
Their reminder emails are persistent! Though if I provided my feedback on time, I might not get as many. I imagine the frequency is configurable, but I've never been involved in that part of the hiring process.
Tracking applicants and collecting feedback from multiple stakeholders. A simple, intuitive interface to view all candidate materials (and interviewer feedback) in one place.
Lever has transformed our recruiting process. Gone are the days where we post and wait - Lever has made recruiting an intuitive, social process that our entire team can participate in. This has led to a dramatic increase in talent quality, as we unlock the power of our referral networks.
Still waiting on more mobile features - as a managing partner to the company I'm often asked to review candidates "on-the-go."
Sourcing - we have increased our signal-to-noise ratio by leveraging our referral networks. Coordination - with such an intuitive system we are able to get broader
I really like the ability to track pipelines, feedback, and metrics across the company. This data centric approach is a huge time savings and probably a better way to recruit than the "old way". I was somewhat skeptical starting off as we were getting swamped by our applicant pipeline (just raised a large VC round and needed to expand fast), but Lever had thought about all this and had great solutions. The implementation support was superb, and really got us over the hurdle of onboarding and becoming quickly productive.
We are early in using it, but right now the biggest con is probably still need to pay for job posts (ie on LinkedIN) or spend time sourcing candidates-- so from a cost perspective, it's not a replacement for these other things. I suspect for companies that have a more relaxed hiring pace, it may not be worth the cost of paying for Lever.
I was getting swamped trying to double the size of the company. Lever is not only an awesome tool to organize the hiring pipeline, their service and expertise has been super helpful getting us to 'best practices' that a smaller company without a dedicated recruiting team can take a lot benefit from. It also saves a ton of time and reduces having to chase interviewers and get vague feedback on people they sometimes can't remember talking to.
I am just getting started using Lever, but I was extremely impressed with the implementation, I found our Implementation Specialist, Amelia extremely resourceful, helpful and had quick response times. I loved how they leveraged Asana to keep the project moving and it was easy to identify action items. I am a big list person, so this helped and I didn't have to worry about taking lots of notes on calls. I was sad to see the implementation end as I really enjoyed working with Amelia and wasn't ready to let go of the crutch. I really enjoy the product and how it's laid out with candidate focus unlike most other ATS's. This was my 3rd time implementing an ATS, and Lever has by far by the best experience to date.
I would have a loved a little longer implementation. They link the job site early and candidates start flowing it, which is great because I learn by doing but if you want to start incorporating it into your process it's difficult as you don't feel like a power user and engaging hiring managers before their training.
We were using email before, it brought our recruiting into the 21st century, and I love the LinkedIn chrome extension, which makes my life as a Recruiter a lot easier.
Very intuitive software. It moves candidates through the recruitment process easily. You can do a lot of things within the system, which eliminates the need for multiple steps in different areas. It saves a lot of time!
There isn't much I can think of to put here! I'd like to learn more about searching for candidates through the pipeline that we have built eventually, but we just started.
Recruitment process, applicant tracking, making sure we don't duplicate efforts.
We implemented Lever ~4 months ago and migrated from a previous ATS and could not be happier with our decision. It has a streamlined UI, is super fast and has straightforward reporting and analytics. Integration with Google Calendar makes scheduling a breeze.
Features requested are on the roadmap, but looking for more permission levels & confidential jobs
Recruiting efficiency and data-driven decision-making
Lever makes it incredibly easy to organize your job postings, candidates, interviews, and feedback. Lever also makes it very easy to collaborate with colleagues on job postings. We used Lever to put a hiring process in place and stick to it. No more blasting emails back and forth with resumes, feedback, and available interview slots. One person can manage a number of hiring pipelines using Lever.
Lever locks you into a few of their pipelines and doesn't provide a ton of flexibility. I'm sure that as they continue to grow they will add features that allow for different pipelines and processes.
We are constantly hiring as we aggressively grow. Lever has dramatically reduced the overhead for hiring.
Easy to use system - quickly review candidates and organize them into stages of followup. I like that you can schedule appointments for each interviewer at the same time from the app and rearrange times accordingly. Helps facilitate the postmortem by having each interviewer leave a score and feedback in the app. I also like that the feedback can be customized.
I wish that there was a resume viewer that was in app so that you didn't have to download the file. It would be nice to just click the thumbnail and view a bigger version and flip through the pages.
Helps us prioritize our candidates and keep track of the interview process.
As a new customer, I haven't really navigated through the entire system yet, but it appears the ease of using the system.
Nothing yet, as I'm a new customer and still learning my way around the system.
It's providing us with a better ATS, streamlining our hiring process and hoping to make it more effective and efficient.
Easy to use software for the interview process. I was one of the interviewers and with Lever it was easy to scroll through the candidates and resumes and give feedback after each interview.
Nothing to add here, not power user of the system
Sheduling interviews, collecting feedback on new candidates, provide details of candidates to interviwers
easy to use as a business end user and very intuitive
Not a ton of downsides but there are multiple ways to refer employees and if your employer has a referral bonus its not tracked if the applicant is eligible
Helping manage referrals into the company as well as used to track application and interviewees
Multiple integrations in one single tool The implementation project went smoothly and constant support from the implementation owner.
The tool is still very oriented to North American users.
Different tools for the whole hiring process
Easy booking for scheduling and the ability to build reports.
The integrations are not as robust as we anticipated they'd be, so we had to create several work arounds.
Talent acquisition management and reporting.
The complexity being able to all of the candidates in one location at any given time
The complexity sometimes I find it difficult to find the candidates I was initially looking for
I am using it to hire for my terriotry
