It's easy to learn and start developing applications very fast, allowing developers to start delivering value after a short training. It comes with many components and connectors out-of-the-box with the platform, and much more that are available in their marketplace for free. Applications developed with Outsystems are built in .NET and ReactJS, making them highly customizable as you can add custom code when you need it, both for the front-end and back-end.

Versioning could be better as it doesn't allow branching, having several developers working in the same module in parallel is not as smooth as it should be. Aggregates (visually modelled databasase queries) does not support the IN operator, having to use advanced SQL each time you have to multivalue filters.

Outsystems allows us to build, change and maintain applications very fast and with considerable less resources. In case something goes wrong, fixes can be deployed in minutes. It also let us quickly prototype and get feedback from users, facilitating agile development.

What I like about OutSystems is that it's easy to start using. As someone who doesn't have a background in the IT area, OutSystems has made it possible and easy for me to develop complex applications and progress with an amazing speed.

The documentation available on OutSystems Website could be improved and the prices for a license are really expensive. Also, you must always be online to make changes.

In the projects I've been and am, with OutSystems I can reach my goal much faster. Even as a junior I feel confident working and that I already have a good idea of ​​what the tool can do.
