We love the gifs section. It is funny...
we would like it to have more types of fonts and designs.
the sops. We are recording all our processes on it. We have done several pieces of training for future employees and are making it easy to keep a collection of the processes.
Trainual is great for keeping everything in one place. With many different departments within my company, we needed a way to train people across departments. Our directors are able to create the trainings they need for their staff, which can easily be used with new hires or people helping out in different departments. Edits are easy to make when details change, and we can easily assign our training to anyone who needs it. The flexibility makes it ideal for any company.
The language that they use can be confusing. Some of it you can change, but not everything. It's not too bad to understand once you get more familiar with Trainual, but it's confusing when trying to teach your employees how to use and interact with it, especially when you have multiple people creating within Trainual. I think my company (online school) uses the platform a little differently than it may have been intended for, so some issues are more dependent on the nature of how we need to use Trainual versus a flaw within Trainual itself.
It seems that Trainual is quick to hear any feedback their users have, and implement it quickly. I know they are constantly working to make updates to the platform. I feel that any issues I have, they are wanting and willing to hear about, There are some changes within the Org chart feature that I would love to see. I am hoping they are working to edit these soon.
It is simple from a user perspective and easy to create from an administrator's point of view. I like how many options you have in presenting information so that you may use it for more than just simple training guides.
The search functions provide ease of access for finding what you need to know on the fly, but it can be too specific on what it is looking for and miss what you really need.
It solves paper issues! And with the recent addition of signatures, we were looking to eliminate paper forms almost entirely, which saves us space and provides employees with easier access to their documents.
Trainual is proving to be a complete operations solution for training and managing SOPs. We are finding that retention and understanding are way up after moving our paper forms to Trainual.
While we are very satisfied, perhaps the Trainual team could work on refining the overall feel of the website, particularly with how the templates are imported. I'm always excited to see a relevant template, but deploying the template and making it ours can be a little clunky. But this is a minor point.
Trainual is helping me scale our business from the entrepreneur stage to enterprise by creating a training framework that is easy to follow and easy to deploy.
The browser finds the topics I'm looking for by using keywords by showing all the paragraphs that contain them. Other feature I like is located in the dashboard I can see there my overall progression.
It may not be related to the platform itself it is more related to the Themes or formatting applied in the different topics, I would like to have more display icons where I can find different explanations on specific labels.
It helps to reduce time and human efforts by providing insights/training for new waves or to refresh specific topics on a daily basis. We don't have a big training team, we have Trainual to provide solutions.
I like how customizable you can make each section or part of the training. Very easy to use and not difficult to update any of the information if necessary.
I think that being so customizable can lead people astray but really depends on the person creating each course or section of the training.
Trainual is solving the problem of watching a million videos that don't make sense. If you want to create a great training program for new hires or even education. This is an easy tool to utilize and makes you look like a wizard.
The easy to navigate from the user view and easy to edit and update from the admin view. The accessibility of support and ability to separate sections of info along with the users themselves based of roles and locations.
The biggest area I have an issue with this the lack of options in quizzes. I would like to see different styles/option other than multiple choice and word count.
Getting support from the Trainua team is always quick and friendly. In our company, we can collect a lot of data and see what areas need improvement and more training. The communication and efficiency of changes are also really convenient while using triangular.
The thing I like best is the abundance of presets that you are able to use as a template and make into your own company policies!
The only downside is how long it takes to input all of our SOPs into Trainual. Once you understand how to navigate, you get a little quicker but it does take some time from the admin perspective
Trainual has replaced almost all of our training manuals and checklists. Many of our policies that are written in the handbook new hires sign are also in Trainual to make sure they have read and understand our important policies
I like the videos! It's so much easier for our team to shoot videos on topics as opposed to bullet point content. Also its wonderful because the team feels empowered, they are also setting the foundation for future trainees with how to videos. This is wonderful because it gets the whole team involved.
Sometimes the video through Loom makes us reconfigure our settings on our computer everytime in order to get it to work. For some reason this has happened often. But this is not Trainuals fault.
Trainual has helped team members understand other roles. The benefits of trainual is that it empowers team members since we get them involved in the creation of videos and material.
Trainual is great resource for training information. Love the easy lay out of the page.
I do not see a downside to using Trainual. I like that it is like a live document.
It's a clear and concise place to have out teams training formation.
Absolute best way to organize, prioritize and memorialize your business processes, policies and organizational information. The templates they provide not only help guide you through the setup process but will teach you how to improve your current processes. Many of the templates are authored by subject matter experts and industry trainers.
Nothing! Everything is spot on, from the reporting to the Org Chart to the constant product enhancements. Status quo is not part of the Trainual Culture.
Before Trainual, we did not have a single business process documented. We could not add employees because no one knew what to do with them if they showed up at our door. Now we have a structured process to bring on new employees, immerse them in our Culture, equip them without systems and technology and give them a track to run on to get their legs underneath them and become contributors immediately.
It was easy to set up. Very customizable and easy to use for our employees.
I wish the Loom link enabled videos longer than 5 min for anyone instead of needing an additional Loom account.
We use Trainual for our SOP's and employee handbook. It is easy for our employees to access to look up info and answer questions easily. Everyone can be a contributor so the SOP's stay up to date.
I love how customizable Trainual is. I work in a niche industry so a lot of our training has to be created from scratch and this is where Trainual excels.
I think the reporting features could be improved. I can pull reports on each class taken but not what classes each individual has taken in totality (including where they are in each one).
Trainual will send you a monthly email with information such as which subjects are underutilized which helps us re-examine what's no longer working. Also they offer a ton of free webinars on how to improve use of the products they have.
Trainual has been a game changer for our company. While we still have a lot to do, the training we've received so far and the policies & processes we've been able to add are looking beautiful. The whole site is easy to use and has a clean look.
The main downside is how time-consuming filling everything in has been. We also continue to add things to the list that we need to add in Trainual. The templates have been useful, but for more universally used technology such as Google slides, it would be helpful to have steps already laid out to save us time.
Trainual is helping us get organized. We have many different documents in many different places, so we're looking forward to cleaning everything up and having one location for the team to find all of these resources.
Trainual has made writing and storing systems and processes fun at Grove Cookie Company! It's easy to use, updates frequently, and the interface is fun! We have also found the templates to be super useful. Go Trainual!
Nothing to think of right now. We are a smaller company, so it will be interesting to see how it adapts as we grow!
Systems and processes documentation, building out roles and responsibilities, creating policies.
I love the ability to create effective and simple content to help my team do their job better. I also love all of the additional helpful content Trainual provides to their users. I have learned a lot from their webinars and articles. It has helped us make the best of the system. I also appreciate all of the features they have thought of and the fact that they are continuing to innovate to meet businesses' needs.
I would like the ability to organize my subjects. Dealing with a huge list of subjects can sometimes get unruly and it would be helpful to be able to categorize them into different categories. There are several other features that would be helpful but honestly, a lot of them are available in the Premium Plan.
We are documenting our processes and procedures and helping fill in the gaps of employee knowledge. We are also using it for quick and effective training programs to get our new people up to speed on the company culture and their responsibilities. It is becoming an important part of our onboarding process and even more so with the new Slack integration.
Trainual allows us to organize all our onboarding and training materials in one, easy-to-use place so we can make sure employees get accurate and up-to-date information.
Trainual developers make it easy to make suggestions for how to improve the program and are adding new features regularly. We are looking forward to e-signatures and the ability to populate pdf fillable forms at some point in the future.
I can organize my thoughts and find the best way to communicate processes to employees and be assured that everyone receives the same training.
Trainual is easy to use and organize. Our staff has one central place to locate training modules and processes for every aspect of our busy agency.
There's nothing I dislike about the tool. They continue to make improvements and are great about communicating with their users about updates.
Before Trainual, we used Google docs and a spreadsheet to organize our SOPs. Now we have a tool with a great user interface and the capability to review our staff's progress on training modules.
That it is easy to manage and sort through and itis easy to update. Everyone on our team find it easy to use.
That you have to learn how to use it and there is no downloadable version if you are not around the internet.
We are solving interruptions throughout the day and everyone will have access to the info needed. It provides knowledge at everyone's fingertips.
The cataloging ability to group your informati
I have not found any issues with the train your system. They worked well for everything we needed
It makes the information easy to refer back to and has it in sections as well as step-by-step use
